Mauritius, Ambre Resort & Spa – June 2026

Hello Dear Polly!

I hope that you are keeping well. I’m so sorry for only replying to your email now – we are literally only starting to feel like human beings now.

Firstly, thank you so much for all of the arrangements and advice regarding our Honeymoon. It’s been a pleasure dealing with you from day one. Thank you for attending to all of my WhatsApps no matter how silly my questions were.

We were blown away by Ambre! Upon arrival, and after quite a bit of travelling, they gave us the most delicious cocktail and upgraded our room to a Suite. That was only the start – the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food at all of the restaurants was out of this world, and we had views for days! Having the all-inclusive package meant that we did not have to stress about a thing, and could truly just unwind and relax.

Daniel fell ill towards the end of our trip, and when I rushed to the kitchen for help, the staff shared advice from their own grandmothers and made us some nettle-water to help him recover. They also checked up on us the morning after.

We opted to do a tour through Solis 360 where we could visit the local market, aquarium and go on a catamaran trip around the island. We had the absolute best time snorkelling in the sea!
