We really had an outstanding honeymoon experience that won’t be soon forgotten. Seychelles is an awesome breathtaking destination that is very highly recommended on our list of places to visit.
The flight and transfers from the airport were very good and Masons travel did an excellent job with the transport, arranging for rental car and organizing of the day excursion to La Digue and Praslin. We thoroughly enjoyed the island hopping.
We really enjoyed the variety of the food that the restaurant had on the buffet daily. I’m so glad we decided not to upgrade to full board because it would have been a waste of money. The breakfast buffet was more than enough and we had a light lunch or snack when we felt like it at the local restaurants and places that we visited on other excursions.
We went out on a day trip with one of the locals where we had time to snorkel and had a BBQ on one of the abandoned islands. This was by far the highlight of our trip. Best fish BBQ we have ever had and the snorkelling was outstanding.
We had a chat with other visitors on the Island from Dubai, Canada and Romania and they all agreed that Seychelles is by far the most expensive holiday destination. They recommended that we explore Thailand in future due to the cheap rates and the beautiful beaches and hotels they had on offer. We will most certainly start saving for this trip once our baby has arrived.
