It’s good to be back! But our honeymoon was amazing!!! Thailand was the perfect option for our honeymoon, and more specifically The Old Phuket at Karon, Phuket. It was quiet enough, but busy enough at the same time and Patong and Kata were just a scooter drive away. Although, we did not even stop in Patong because it seemed very sleazy, dirty and overcrowded.
The transfers were well arranged and always professional and on time.
The Old Phuket hotel was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the service, accommodation and food. We would highly recommend it!
It is definitely worth going to see the Phi-Phi islands and doing some sightseeing on the Phuket island. We enjoyed hiring a scooter and just going where the road took us, but scooters are not for the faint-hearted or inexperienced bike rider because the roads are chaos!
We left our hotel early on our last day and spent the day in Bangkok, before our flight back home, but this is not recommended! It was the end of our holiday and we were over sight-seeing and did not have sufficient money to take advantage of the great technology specials on offer. So we spent most the day waiting in the airport for our flight. We would have preferred to rather be snorkelling in off the Karon beach point!
I would definitely recommend Thailand to honeymooners or holidaymakers!
