Shandrani for 2 is a dedicated adults-only wing created for couples and friends looking for a more peaceful, intimate and private experience within the larger Shandrani Beachcomber Resort. The concept includes 69 redesigned rooms – 27 Beach Rooms and 42 Bay-View Rooms.
One of the biggest advantages is that guests get the best of both worlds: the tranquillity and exclusivity of an adults-only area, while still having access to the wider resort’s facilities, restaurants and activities
All Shandrani Beachcomber’s rooms face the sea and what’s more, the resort is surrounded by a vast tropical garden, dotted with resplendent, ancient trees. Delicately sculpted wood finishings add exceptional style to each room, while tranquil shades have been carefully selected to complete the look.

Located in the adults-only wing on the first and second floors it consists of a sleeping and sitting area plus an en-suite bathroom that features a shower only.

Dining & Bars
The Shandrani for 2 area has its own dedicated restaurant and relaxed beachfront bar, along with a private beach area. This gives couples somewhere to retreat to when they want a quieter atmosphere, while they can still enjoy the extensive facilities of Shandrani itself.
The main resort also has six restaurants and three bars, so there is plenty of choice beyond the adults-only section.
Blue Bay Bar
The main bar offers a selection of mouth-watering cocktails. Kick back with the drink of your choice while you enjoy the evening’s entertainment and dance the night away to a live band or DJ.
Le Sirius Bar at the poolside of the Sirius restaurant is the place for a quiet evening drink or cocktail after dinner. Baguettes are served from late morning until late afternoon.
A seasonal restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Set at the edge of a swimming pool, with a spectacular view of Blue Bay. An a-la-carte menu boasts an assortment of Mauritian-themed dishes, some of which are available at a supplement.
This speciality restaurant is open only for dinner. Enjoy romantic lighting, understated opulence and a tranquil atmosphere, as you dine in style from a meticulously crafted Thai menu that is presented as a collection of dishes per course.
This restaurant focuses on boatloads of flavour synonymous with the cuisine of Italy. Paired with great international wine choices, this is a dining experience to relive throughout your stay. Open for breakfast and dinner. Certain dishes are available at a supplement for dinner.
Serendipity is reserved for residents of the new adults-only wing and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Look forward to international trendy specialities and set menu dining.
Taste the Art of Beautiful at our eight resorts’ 32 restaurants, each in a unique location and offering various menus and cuisine. With different restaurant atmospheres and settings, this ‘dine around’ culinary experience is an enticing option. Guests at Dinarobin Beachcomber, Paradis Beachcomber and Trou aux Biches Beachcomber may dine at all four of the Beachcomber 4-star properties at no supplement (dining at Royal Palm Beachcomber is at an additional charge). Our 4-star guests may also dine at any of our 5-star resorts, at a supplement. Royal Palm Beachcomber guests may dine on a complimentary basis at any of the Beachcomber resorts. Our dedicated leisure and entertainment team ensures there is always something fun and interesting happening at the hotel. A weekly entertainment programme is available for all residents and is posted in the public areas each day.
Daytime entertainment includes numerous activities, which change daily. Evening entertainment is rich and varied, including dancing to a live band and musical and cabaret shows. Typical Creole evenings are a weekly feature not to be missed. There’s something for all tastes.

My wife and I always use the Webtours team for our travels and we yet again, thoroughly enjoyed their selection on our honeymoon celebration.
Shandrani was incredible. So much so, we revisited for our babymoon a year later. With all sorts of activities to choose from, both land and water sports and evening entertainment, it’s the ideal choice for us. Blessed with beautiful beaches and clear turquoise waters, we enjoyed great tours and snorkelling at the Blue Bay Marine Park. The Beachcomber Shandrani offers special perks for honeymooners which was an added highlight for our trip. We chose the all-inclusive option and had a good variety of dining options (the buffet was awesome) as well as lots of cocktails. The staff were very friendly and efficient making our trip even more enjoyable and memorable.
